NOTICE OF EMPLOYMENT

  Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions in the Customary Court of Appeal, Rivers State.

A.   Chairman of Customary Court

  1.   Customary Court, Isiokpo

  2.   Customary Court, Onne - (Eleme Local Government Area)

  3.   Customary Court, Ogu - (Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area)

  4.   Customary Court. Port Harcourt - (Elekahia - Oro-Rozu, Oro-Ada; Oroworukwo; Oro-Abali; Oro-Gbum; Oro-Meru-Ezimgbu; Nkpor-Ogwu; Oro-Chiri; Abuloma; Amadi-Ama; Okuru-Ama; Isaka; Port Harcourt Township; Azubie; Borokiri).

  5.   Customary Court II, Obio - (Rumuigbo, that is Ekinigbo; Rumuepirikom; Rumukpokwu; Eneka; Rumuada-Orlu; Rumu-Orosi; Rumuola; Rumueme; Rumuokwuta).

Qualification and Experience

  1.   An Applicant shall be a Legal Practitioner of not less than seven (7) years post-call experience

  2.   Applicant must not be above 40 years or less than 35 years of age.

  3.   Applicant must come from within the locality of the court.

B.   MEMBER OF CUSTOMARY COURT

  1.   Customary Court, Egwi

  2.   Customary Court, Akabuka

  3.   Customary Court, Ndoni

  4.   Customary Court, Okwuizi

  5.   Customary Court, Kpor

  6.   Customary Court, Onne - (Eleme Local Government Area)

  7.   Customary Court, Ogu (Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area)

  8.   Customary Court - Port Harcourt. (Elekahia - Oro-Rozu; Oro-Ada; Oroworukwo; Oro-Abali; Oro-Gbum; Oro-Meru-Ezimgbu; Nkpor-Ogwu; Oro-Chiri; Abuloma; Amadi-Ama; Okuru-Ama; Isaka; Port Harcourt Township; Azubie; Borokiri).

  9.   Customary Court II, Obio (Rumuigbo, that is Ekinigbo); Rumuepirikom; Rumukpokwu; Eneka; Rumuada-Orlu; Rumu-Orosi; Rumuola; Rumueme; Rumuokwuta).

Qualification and Experience

  1.   Applicant shall be a Legal Practitioner of not less than five (5) years post¬call experience.

  2.   Applicant must not be above 40 years or less than 30 years of age

  3.   Applicant must come from within the locality of the court.

Salary

The positions are pensionable. Salaries are in accordance with Public/Civil Service Structure.

    (x)   Present employment, status, salary and employer

    (xi)   Name and addresses of three (3) referees

  b)   Relevant credentials (academic/professional qualifications, etc)

  c)   Local government identification

  d)   Proof of age

  e)   Attach two (2) passport photographs.
